Arba’een ceremony in Karbala widely reflected by world media
The presence of millions of mourners of the Third Infallible Successor to Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny), Imam Hussein (Peace be upon him), in the holy Iraqi city of Karbala in the recent days, especially on Arba’een, has drawn the attention of world media, which have widely reflected on this huge religious gathering.

Many of the world media have termed this huge religious gathering as unprecedented. The reporters of different global media, including the media of France, Britain, and the US have referred to this huge and unprecedented Islamic gathering despite the threats leveled by the terrorist outfit, dubbed ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL).

Also, a number of media politically analyzed the millions-strong presence of Muslims in Arba’een ceremony in Karbala.

The British BBC Network admitted that even explosion and mortar attacks failed to obstruct the participation of millions of Shiites in the Arba’een ceremony in Karbala.
